Given that North Beach is the 'Little Italy' of SF deciding on the best pizza is a little bit of a challenge. Instead, let me just name some of the best:
1. North Beach Pizza (people like to pooh pooh it, but it's good)
2. Golden Boy Pizza which a lot of locals and Italian's toot as the best
3. Tony's--Hey, it's named Tony's. 'Nuf said.
4. Tommasso's which is also a good casual date spot.
But there are a good half dozen others that probably desserve honorable mention.
