Moving to North Lakes
North Lakes, QLD 4509 is located within the Pine Rivers local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
My partner and I (mid 20s) are looking into Brisbane (North Lakes area) as an option for moving out of Sydney. We have (almost) accepted the fact that we cant afford to buy in Sydney and think maybe the lifestyle change will do us good. Is it hard to find work locally or do most people travel into Brisbane? And if so what's the best way to get into Brisbane from North Lakes? He is a mechanic and I'm a legal secretary. Also, is North Lakes prone to flooding? Any feedback is appreciated along with any additional info regarding moving. Thanks :)
