North Lakes is a much newer suburb for Brisbane so most of the properties are modern and built to recent likes and wants e.g. Kallangur on the other side of the M1 has a mixture of older and newer properties. Forty years ago North Lakes did not exist.

As a suburb it's fairly new and everything has been well planned having learned from mistakes in other areas I suppose. Nice place to shop it's got just about everything. Good suburb to live in I reckon..
