Most Friendly Progressive and Arty/Music place for young couple?

We are a mid 20's couple looking to slow down a bit in a small(ish) town. Would love to know where has Markets, active arts and music scene and a environmental friendly/socially progressive personality. Thanks! :)

Glen Innes has the longest running Arts Council in Australia. The Chapel Theatre i s the local cinema and live (mostly local) productions. The Theatre boasts the best digital sound and movie equipment in Regional Australia.
There are 2 art galleries, 2 craft shops that have workshops.
The Australian Celtic Festival each year has a week of art on as well as busking. The programs for this years recent festival is here which shows craft and music workshops: https://acf2017.sched.com/
We have had Sunday music by locals in one of the pubs which has now stopped but is planned to start up again.
