Young family wanting to movie to QLD, North of Gold Coast/tourist areas a bit of land.

Hi, am a family of just 3 and wanting to move to QLD from Geelong Victoria, so that is an hour from Melbourne. We are wanting some land a 1 to 2 acre's away from tourists. Smaller town is fine just somewhere nice to raise our daughter and have that space. Not as high as Townsville but higher than the Gold Coast. Thanks :)
