35 Nurlendi Road Vermont was our third home in Vermont, so we already loved the area but the wife did say to a real estate agent anywhere in these 3 streets.

23 years ago with a young family, being close to the state school and sporting grounds and Bellbird Dell was attractive, we felt fortunate to secure the property, it had great features that we knew would make a beautiful family retreat.

Our children were able to walk to the local state school, participate in local sporting clubs make many friends and enjoy the local parks and walks.

I loved autumn and the smell of the open fires which meant it was time to wander up to the local football ground and watch a cracking game of football.

Access to high school was easy and our children were later able to transport to private schools in Glen Waverley and Wheelers Hill with no problems.

The quiet of the block, birds and lack of neighbours on your back fence, can only truly be appreciated when you come from a place that does not provide this.

Many teenage events and parties have happened at 35 Nurlendi, with the tennis court a place for our boys to let off steam with their friends.

The large outside entertaining area is a real need as many friends seemed to stay for a BBQ and swim.

We enjoyed improving the property over the many years we were there and made it work for us – a large dining table is required!

If you have teenagers and their friends who drive you will appreciate the car-parking and driveways that the property provides.

Easy access to Eastlink now provides easy access to the south east and city by car – our youngest bused and trained to RMIT for 3 years.

Time has flown past and the family has moved on, so we have now downsized to only 1 suburb away.

We would love to see the property being enjoyed by a new large family for another 20 years.
