I like the look of Ocean View near Dayboro, however is it too isolated?
Ocean View, QLD 4521 is located within the Pine Rivers local government area, part of the Brisbane Region in Queensland.
I work in Brisbane, would the commute be more than an hour?

It's definitely a lifestyle choice. If you are ok commuting that amount of time it's totally worth it. We commute from Wamuran to Mansfield every day (just over an hour each way) but crank the music and enjoy the fact that when you pull into your driveway it's peace and quiet and beautiful surroundings. After spending 20 years always living close to work in battery housing with neighbours on top of you and yapping dogs we wouldn't change this for the world.

Ok thanks! That's one of the reasons for us moving from where we are, barking dogs! We are sorrounded by the dman things that drive us nuts. I used to live at Mansfield just off Wecker rd, so know it well, but an hour to commute? Really? I would have thought longer for sure. I work at Bowen Hills, so would you say I could do it under an hour? What about shops, medical, schools etc...does Ocean View provide that? I am a little worried it may not be close to anything. I just can't find anything about the place on the net.
