"Real family oriented area"
O'Sullivan Avenue is nicely located, tucked up between Anzac Parade and Bunnerong Road in Maroubra. Located close to parks, schools, day care facilities and both Eastgardens Shopping Centre and Pacific Fair....its position leaves you wanting for nothing. There are many restaurants and fast food eateries located a short distance away along Maroubra Road and the shopping patch on Anzac Parade.
Maroubra beach is a short 5 minute drive away to add to the appeal of the area.
The neighbours are predominantly terrific. Very friendly and outgoing. The neighbourhood is very working class. The area as a whole is rejuvenating, with modern looking houses and refurbishments taking place.
Two negatives - Aircraft noise. The street is that occasionally there will be flight path noise. Although the planes do not directly fly over O'Sullivan Avenue, on a still evening, the noise can get a little loud.
South Sydney High School - Can cause parking to be difficult on some evenings due to sporting events or parent/teacher nights.
