Opportunity to buy in Oxenford, however it's near north end of quarry - should that put me off?

Oxenford, QLD 4210 is located within the Gold Coast local government area, part of the Gold Coast Region in Queensland.

After some opinions/advice about whether or not I should invest in the Oxenford area. I love the house and area, am just concerned as to the living aspects and affect on property value from the quarry. I am a shift worker so am sleeping through the days on occasion.
