Would you swap Paddington for a Bribie Island Lifestyle?

That’s a really odd question and it will depend hugely on your personal circumstances. I downsized from the Sunshine Coast to move to Paddington this year (2022) and am so glad I did. This is an amazing suburb with so much to do, including beautiful restaurants, cafes, shops and walks - the hills aren’t so bad once you get going!
If I wanted beaches and fishing, I’d never have moved here. It’s not really a like-with-like question.

Two totally different locations, both with varing appeal but not comparable. Inner city island life! You can’t fish in Paddo, but you can walk to the best footy stadium in the country and have a wonderful dinner on the way at one of the many restaurants!

Only if you like fishing and getting on the water.
Otherwise Paddo has much more to do
