Going to be living in darwin for a couple of months. Is palmerston a safe area to live in?

I highly recommend living in Palmerston if you have a family! Palmerston offers primary schools in every suburb and some middle and high schools. Palmerston also offers plenty of facilities and services including parks. Bakewell lake is a very family friendly park with playgrounds and areas to feed the ducks. Palmerston is a safe place but you have to live in the right areas, places like Moulden and Gray are known for the high amounts of theft and housing commission. Just make sure you lock up! If you are looking for a upstairs house, I'd recommend looking in Driver. If you are looking for a family home or new housing estates. I'd recommend living in Bakewell, Zuccoli, Rosebery, Bellamack, Johnston, Durack and Farrar. Marlow's Lagoon offers massive blocks right near the Palmerston CBD! I hope this helps.
