Sovereign island community annual costs
Paradise Point, QLD 4216 is located within the Gold Coast local government area, part of the Gold Coast Region in Queensland.
Does anyone know what costs are involved on Sivereign island other than $2400pa for parks & security? Are there added council fees for bridge or sea wallls? Would like to live there but have notice 50% are for sale seems strange!

Yes, council fees are variable and based on valuation.
Sea walls is an owner cost if there is an issue. Only 3 or 4 sea walls have been an issue.
Sovereign Island has a transient population. We lived there for 20 years and really enjoyed it, but many owners are from overseas and they tend to move on. There is a large Chinese population on Sovereign and the ones who live there are good citizens. A lot of speculators are tending to create the turnover data.
