Where is the Ideal suburb for retirees? Paradise Point or Runaway Bay?

Both Paradise Point and Runaway Bay are great for Retirees!

However in my opinion as General Realty has been selling in these suburbs since 1983, I would highly recommend Runaway Bay. Runaway Bay has the best Shopping village with heaps of cafes, small clothing stores, groceries (Woolworths, Coles and Aldi) as well as live music on the weekend with an amazing view of the Runaway Bay Canals. you will find a lot of seniors and elderly that call this there hangout spot all week!

The Broad water is not far either and can be a short walk from your chosen house/unit. The walk along the broad water is very beautiful and relaxing of early mornings and late afternoons.

Paradise Point is also very similar with the esplanade providing Cafes, Restaurants, small food markets and fruit shop. The sandy beaches are also great to watch sunrises.
