Looking for a home in Pearcedale?

"Close enough to city conveniences but without the hustle and bustle!"

People in Pearcedale are down to earth , resourceful, friendly and helpful. Great little shopping centre where the shopkeepers know your name and go out of their way to provide better than usual service. Farm produce still available to purchase from local farmers at farm gate. Lots of sporting clubs and activities for kids and adults. Great Primary School. Situated next to Westernport Bay, Pearcedale still has some lovely pockets of native vegetation , see Colley St Reserve. An amazing variety of birds including some from as far away as Siberia visit Pearcedale annually. Places to visit, Moonlit Sanctuary and farmers market. Has a great local doctor , chemist , wellness centre and childcare centre.
Easy access to beach ,fishing and watersports from nearby Warneet and Blind Bight, kayaking at Watsons Inlet, Yaringa Marine National Park where the saltmarshes are of international significance. The largest Herb Farm in the Southern Hemisphere is located here and many flower farms also sell direct to the public. Horse racing and equestrian enthusiasts abide in rural properties surrounding the township. Bus service to/from Frankston should be more frequent. Easy access to Monash, South Gippsland Highway, new Peninsula Link and Eastlink.
Parking at shopping centre is scarce at school pick up time, avoid if you can.

"Everything we could wish for!!!"

We built our home here 14 years ago and have since had 2 children who now attend Pearcedale Primary School and Pearcedale has catered for everything we need!!! Childcare, Kinder, great Primary School, Doctor, Bank, Chemist, Supermarket, Butcher, Hardware store, Newsagent, Post Office, Pizza, Fish 'n' Chips, Hairdressers, Milk Bar, Bakery, Petrol station, Public transport (Bus) and the best till last - Moddi's cafe!!! We wanted the peace and serenity of a smaller country town but not to be far away from the busy shopping centres like Frankston, Karingal, Cranbourne, Somerville, Mornington etc. Our children are much safer here than any of the surrounding suburbs. We just don't want to move away from here - ever!!!

"Excellent for families"

It is a brilliant little town but only 15 mins from the beach in Frankston and shopping centre, but doesn't have the feel of a large suburb.

"Green belt living at its best"

Pearcedale still has that country town feel. However now it has its own shopping village with fupermarket, newsagents, hardware, bank, bakery, butcher, service station, tax agent, chemist, pizza and milk bar. O n top of all that it has a well regarded primary school and is close to several secondary schools, bus pick up is available for the private and public schools. The community has its own fire brigade and is only 20 minutes to either Casey or Frankston Hospitals. There is also a local Doctor. The green belt means it can't have millions of cheap little sub divisions dotted everywhere. Plenty of places for the kids to play. A great place to live and a sought after location.
