"Cheap and Cheerful"
Many cheap units available to buy or rent. Low cost of living with 2 supermarkets within easy walking distance. Buses are available to locations in all directions. Fast food shops close by such as Hungry Possum and Crazy Ox. The fruit bats in the trees are noisy all the time in the wet season not to mention the smell of their urine. After dark becomes a problem sometimes with people loitering around the streets at night yelling and screaming loudly, mainly torres straight islander teens with nothing better to do usually drunk or smoking pot. Make sure your unit or house has security gates and CCTV. Overall the street is good for a base for working holiday accommodation as it is cheap and centrally located to everything.

Yes bro that is right. Pease street is the drug capital of cairns so get in on the action. Don't worry about them bats and the disease they spread. Absolute heaven. And I live going out with my mates at night yelling and screaming all night. Big punch ups too. Great entertainment hope you can join in tonight bro.
