"Peregian Beach - Small Village by the sea"

The village is east of the busy road, so no roads to cross. There is a patrolled beach and surf club at the village. The town is a great place to live and it is easy to get to know the locals and to fit in.

Every fortnight there are markets and a free concert in the park. Both have a great atmosphere. The place has a friendly bohemian feel to it.

It has a wide demographic ranging from wealthy professionals who own many of the beach side homes to a young bohemian crew of surfers and musicians who frequent the place particularly on the market days. The place has a good vibe to it.

I have lived here for 5 years after moving from Brisbane. It has been a great place to raise teenage children.

It is also a very safe place to be, there are no problems with going out at night.

I have enjoyed every minute of my time here.

Great for

  • Nice beach , great when weather is good
  • Village has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops
  • Green and low rise
  • Friendly naighbours
  • Great food
  • Traffic-free village right next to the beach

Not great for

  • No public pool

"Becoming overcrowded estate"

Used to have a quaint village feel, not any more. More crowded than ever and more crime than there used to be. Locals have all gone elsewhere. Mostly tenanted now.

"Hidden Gem!"

Peregian Breeze is a fantastic place to live, we have lived here now for 6 months and absolutely love it! With only 400 homes it has a real community feel and lovely friendly people.
The local shops are a 5 minute walk from most homes with amazing eateries and with a lovely choice. Indique offers amazing Indian food, sit down restaurant or take away. Brklyn Pizzas offers stunning pizzas and chicken that taste absolutely amazing! Coconut Kulture offers delicious Thai to suit all and last but not least Goldies Groceries has the best barista for your coffee, they also offer cocktail nights, burger nights, fish and chips on Friday nights and a Mexican day on Sundays where the community gathers in the afternoon.
Less than 5 minutes to St Andrew’s school, Coles supermarket, Peregian Beach and instant access to the motorway and just 10 minutes from Coolum Beach, 15 mins to Sunshine Beach, 20 mins to Hastings Street Noosa, 25 mins to the Sunshine Coast Airport and 30 minutes to the amazing shops at Sunshine Plaza and Maroochydore the location is second to none!
If these land blocks were released now they would be selling for BIG money!
Plans have already been made to create a pedestrian bridge across to Peregian Springs for easy access to the schools and Coles, but the big thing that’s going to put Peregian Breeze on the map is the pedestrian and cycle path that’s planned to link it directly to the beach! Funds have been allocated, so watch this space…….
A little gem 💎 of an Estate with new modern homes, plenty of parks and work out stations, we really do feel so grateful to have discovered it!
I hope this helps others thinking of making the move. No regrets from us! 😃👌😍

"Peregian Beach"

Peregian Beach is a small trendy village town right on the beach. It has a young vibe with great surf, great food and shops, a large IGA supermarket with chemist, across the road are plenty of dress shops, a bottleshop, Raw Energy Juice Bar and lots of great restaurants and coffee shops. Try a delicious meal at Periwinkle, delicious Thai or the very popular Pitchfork. There is a new Hotel situated right on the round about.

Head for a surf or a long walk on the beautiful ocean beach, enjoy the weekend markets, or simply join your friends for a cool beer. There is a large park located next to the shops, on the beach for the kids to play after a swim.

Peregian is only 10 minutes drive from Noosa and easy access to the Sunshine Motorway and a short drive to the Sunshine coast airport. Buses run up and down the coast a regular intervals making easy access to Peregian Beach.

Peregian has a real community feel making it a great place for the family, Peregian Springs which is a new housing development is only a few minutes drive from the beach. St. Thomas Moore school is located in Peregian springs next to the Woolworths shopping complex.

The school in Peregian Springs is St Andrew's Anglican College - an excellent school that offers K-12; it's located opposite the Coles shopping complex. (No Woolworths in Peregian.) St Thomas Moore is a Catholic primary school located Noosaville way.

"Clean beaches with a relaxed lifestyle"

Peregian Beach Noosa is still an unspoiled location that sits upon kilometres of pristine beaches. The village square offers gourmet dinning, trendy shops and all the usual amenities of this friendly community. It's only 10 minutes south if Noosa Heads but far enough to avoid the traffic and popularity of the Heads. There's been some beautiful homes built, sone with swapping ocean views to the horizon. Great for family's, singles and retirees.

"Where the locals live"

I've recently moved to Peregian Beach and it feels like home. Living one street back from the beach, it is so peaceful at night I can hear the waves crashing. Peregian Beach is the trendy and dare I say hippy sister to Noosa Heads. Renowned for it's local spirit and local markets on 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month, you will also find the perfect cup of coffee to start your day at Le Bon Delice, the little French patisserie tucked in the back. The Peregian Beach boardwalk of shops and cafe's is very popular with dog owners as is the beach of course.

Great for

  • Great location for all you dog lovers
  • French patisserie with the best coffee (Le Bon Delice)
  • Great food
  • Nice beach , great when weather is good
  • Village has plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops

"The Village Square Hub"

The heart of Peregian Beach is the village square where the dinning and shopping are known for being individual, unique and creative, and the village vibe is friendly and cosy.

It was once the site of the local community swimming pool in 1964. Today it offers a juice bar, Chinese tea house, restaurant, thai, pizza, Japanese, Fish n Chips bistro, clothing stores, beachy home wares shops, independent book store, florist plus much more!

The Surf Club park hosts the Peregian Originals Music on the first and third Sunday, plus the markets with very thing from home grown vegies, to fancy knitted tea pot covers on offer.

For the green thumbs there is the community garden where people come together to grow fresh organic produce. Even the local cafes provide vegetable scraps for compost! There is a herb garden in town that the local restaurants use and the one of the streets are lined with fruit trees.

The beach is beautiful, with one long stretch of golden sand from Sunshine Beach to Northshore. If looking to holiday or live permanently Peregian Beach is special and a must on the Sunshine Coast to do list!

Love the Peregian Village atmosphere. My oldest 2 were taught to swim in the Peregian pool in the 70's...pity they had to close it down because of new regulations.
Try to visit the Village whenever I'm up the coast...great shops, coffee, eats and atmosphere.

"Like a permanent summer holiday for foodies"

One of the few beachside communities that is next to the beach and doesn't have a big road running through the middle of it. Instead the village square has a plethora of cafes, takeaways and restaurants with top-quality food from all major cuisines. Interspersed are clothing shops and knick-knacks priced for the rich tourists but always worth a look.

Lovely kids playground, BBQs and skate park that all get a regular work-out. Fortnightly markets that have to be the best quality on the coast. And the fortnightly concert that brings all walks of life out for a general picnic / dance and catch up with friends.

Great for residents as it feels like a holiday and yet, great schools (public and private) supermarkets and motorway all close by

Great for

  • Traffic-free village right next to the beach

Peregian Beach couldn't want for a nicer place, we were a couple of streets back from the beach and WOW what a beach rolls in straight of the Coral Sea and yes some days were pretty rough but when it was good it was very, very good and the.....? Did I mention the Beach? this place was so nice one could just live here all year round and never ever miss the big smoke, must go here on holiday again one day.

"SURF BEACH HEAVEN WITHOUT THE THRONG"

Firstly the beach is near perfect as few people use it five days each week. It is a fishermans utopia as the bait is free as are the fish. Many retired professional folk have wisely made this beach their home. Smart. Shopping is adequate here and only five mins by car south is a Woolies. The best place to live at Peregie is surfside of the north/south David Low Way which will have you at Noosa Heads in less than 15 minutes. I was priveleged to live in Peregie for 15 years- the best 15 years of my adult life. Should you wish to fly then a short easy drive will have you at Maroochy Airport in 20 mins. A hospital is only 15 mins away affording peace of mind for all. I have been north to Cooktown however no location captured me any where near as Peregie had. The beach access is perfect being a level walk and does not have steep access as does Sunshine Beach to the north. To say Peregian Beach is fantastic is surely an understatement. The locals are so warm and friendly and genuine.

"A reasonably laid back beach area, but an area that is upgrading."

The areas north and south of Peregian Beach have been expanding over the years and what was a quiet beach area has now become more and more popular. The shopping centre has been upgraded and has a rather unique set up in that the shops actually form a large square with a good sized park area in the middle where people sit under the trees and drink their coffee and eat their meals.

Even though the town has been upgraded there is still a very laid back lifestyle. The beach is a surf beach and seems to stretch for miles. The area is undulating behind the beach area and therefore some of the homes have uninterrupted views out to the ocean.

Some 15 mins drive from Noosa and 30 mins drive south to Maroochydore no major centre is too far away. Most minor services are available in Peregian as it is a growing area and it also services the coast north and south from it.
