What are the highest ranked suburbs in Perth, WA?

Of course it depends on the individual. Beautiful, expensive, family suburbs are generally closer to the swan river and the elite schools (st hildas, PLC,MLC, Christchurh ). I think Cottesloe is great for it's proximity to the city, beach, elite schools and fremantle. Hilary's which is bait north of Perth is quite expensive but has a great reputation for night life activities, restaurants and of course the views. It has great central strips. Bull creek, a more reasonable area is good for families, without the snob aspect, and is close the CBD As well. Personally I like south Perth area close to the river. It is simply beautiful.
