Where is suitable for an expat in Perth?

I know that Perth has one of the highest concentration of of British people outside the UK. But which suburbs are best?

I am 28 and shall be moving by myself, looking for a place that will suit a singledom needs.

Thanks,

Fremantle - Have a coffee on ‘Cappuccino Strip’, do your weekly shop at one of the fresh food markets, grab a beer at one of the micro breweries or check out some of the historic attributes. Fremantle has a lot to offer people that live within in its boundaries.
Leederville - This suburb is host to a diverse demographic, catering towards people of all ages and many places to go and places to see. Loads of great eateries and bars. A short distance to the city centre. Many options for nightlife throughout and well connected whether you are driving or on public transport.
Mt Lawley - WIthin walking distance of the city centre, this leafy suburb offers a lot of entertainment to its dwellers. Close proximity to Hyde Park as well. Lawley has great places to eat, drink and entertain. The property types add depth of character to this suburb with much of its architecture dating back to 1900’s federation and colonial style homes.

Hope these help!
