Which suburbs are considered the most 'trendy' inner city areas to live?

I'm not the most trendy of folks, but I'd say Highgate is doing pretty well. Maylands and Mt Lawley are good but they are much bigger areas with lots of flats and a wide range of people can live there. Highgate is getting out of reach so is more desirable in the eyes of many.
