Great Suburb close to the city and many surrounding places. Walk to many. Menzies Street is used as a rat-run BUT only by locals within Petrie Terrace. So in reality, not very busy, but can be busier than some in the area.
It is segregated from foot traffic to and from the stadium. The lane behind services Caxton Street businesses, but is from what I can see not very busy. And the smells from the food places there are no longer the greasy fish and chips you use to smell when we were looking to buy.
If it is the house I think the living room courtyard is on the rear lane .
And from the upper level mainbedroom, it has sensational northern views.
And no real noise from Hale Street which is a big bonus.
