"Getting better all the time"
I live on the Ardoch side of Pilley St and while I know most people in Ardoch, I don't actually know many of the people on the other side of Pilley St. Some months ago I did go door-knocking to try to find the owner of a beautiful old ginger tom-cat that had been knocked and killed, probably by one of the idiots that go too fast around the corner from Johnson St into Pilley St. No-one seemed to know the owner, so I put a flyer in all the local letterboxes and the following morning, the owner did call. He was owned by a family with kids, and fortunately they had another cat, the sister of beautiful old tom. Hopefully they've got another kitten ...
Over the last year or so, a couple of the old homes in Pilley St have been beautifully and lovingly restored, so things are looking good ...
