Honest thoughts please on moving to and living in Port.

I want to move to Port Macquarie with my wife and 4 yr old as we bought a house 4 yrs ago in Kamona Close, Port. But because that came with a mortgage and we just had a baby, we were worried that we wouldn't find work so we haven't lived there yet. So we decide to rent in Brisbane and rent out our home in Port. I really want to make the permanent move to Port. Its such a beautiful place to raise our daughter so I was wondering if anyone could share their thoughts on being able to find employment and costs of living? I'm a Secondary Teacher of Design Technology/ICT and my wife has experience in HR Management/Finance with two Masters in International Communications and Business. Any thoughts on "do employment opportunities exist"? We would really appreciate any feedback. Regards Matt
