Where to live????

We have an opportunity to emigrate from Old South Wales to Port as my wife who's a GP has a post in starting April 2019. I've also got a career break from the police for a couple of years to give it a try. We'll have 3 year old daughter with us and a 10 year old son hopefully visiting a lot. We currently have the beach 5 mins walk away and we'd like to maintain this if possible, so would like some recommendations for area's to live? Also open to any social activities to help meet people and settle in as Im still trying to play sport (40s old man sport!). Regards, Jimmy.
