Working with trees in Port Macquarie?

Hi everyone. I am an Arborist looking for a tree change (haha) out of Melbourne and back to NSW where I grew up. I love the climate up there, but have never lived in Port Macquarie. All the reviews seem to place it as a great place to raise my two kids away from the big city.

My question - Is there any work for Arborists is Port Macquarie and the surrounding areas?

Thanks for your time!

People have been working with trees around Port Macquarie since the day of first settlement and the lumber industry remains strong (albeit tightly controlled) today. Timbertown, in nearby Wauchope, is a testament to those early days and local blackbutt remains the timber of choice for flooring in new homes. Port is also the fastest growing town on the NSW Mid North Coast - growing at almost twice the rate of NSW itself - and the building industry is racing to keep up with demand. With new homes come new gardens; with new gardens come new trees and with new trees comes an increasing need for arborist services. See ya soon!
