How safe is Eastern Preston near Northland Shopping Centre?
Preston, VIC 3072 is located within the Darebin local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
I'm relocating to Melbourne and have looked at a town house in Preston right behind Northland shopping centre. I've been given mixed reviews about this suburb and some say it's not safe close to Northland. The parklands attract a lot of crime and people under the influence. Is this true? The house I'm looking at doesn't have a lockup garage or alarm systems installed. Will this be a problem. Any information would be great to help be decide about the house. Thank you!

Have you checked out the suburb reviews? Reviews provide excellent info on areas. You can also narrow your search down to a certain street to see how other Homely users rate the area.

I live in heidelberg have for 20yrs and again druggies are everywhere just keep off the main roads and the older flats/units and you should be fine
