Looking at Proserpine as our new home
Myself, partner and two children (6 & 3yrs) are thinking of moving to QLD and are considering Proserpine as out new home (have bever been here!). We will also be visiting Rockhampton/Yeppoon area to see what its like as an option also. Will be relocating from central NSW so this area is completely foreign to us! Any advice??

Hi Heidi, you will love Proserpine, it is a friendly town with a great supportive community. It has an enviable lifestyle and since I moved here I have never looked back. I think I will be here until I die, I just can't imagine living anywhere else and that is the honest truth. You will love how close everything is, a 15min drive to beaches like Wilsons Beach, Conway Beach, Airlie Beach, Hydeaway Bay and destinations like Lake Proserpine. The local council recently opened a Water Park at the Proserpine Pool that will drive the kids wild, there are plenty of childcare centres and schools that are held in high regard and produce above average academic outcomes. I am unable to give advice on Teranganba as I have not been there but if you have a look on Facebook for groups like Rockhampton buy swap sell or Yeppoon buy swap sell I am sure there are plenty of lovely people more then willing to assist you in your new community <3 lots of love from Laura
Thanks Laura! Glad you are loking your new home..a few weeks ago we travelled as far as Yeppoon. Quite liked the area, Teranganba in particular- any advice on this area would be great! We have decided Proserpine is just too far from home Thanks
