Reviews of Queen Street, Cordalba
"Picturesque little village, but ruined by callibre of people living there. Prices low, therefore attracts mainly low income earners"
Very wide street in the hub of cane growing industry. Cane train runs through the front property 6 months a year, therefore noisy all night. Also general store in Queen Street, delievery trucks call by day and night, some with very loud radios who have no consideration for people sleeping. Pub at one end of main street. Can be noisy and disruptive after a band night. The music is fine, but it's the locals who become vandalistic after a night out of drinking. Most neighbours help each other out and are friendly. However, most also have every power tool conceivable and have no hesitation in challenging themselves, as to how small they can cut up a plank of wood. Pretty walks in secluded places. Lovely old cemetery dating back to the 1800's worth visiting occasionally. Only 10 minute drive to beautiful Childers, which is a glorious place to live and visit.
