Is Redbank Safe
Hi Everyone, We are new to the area and looking at purchasing a home. we have been told to keep away from Redbank, however looking at where we want to buy, the Qld crime map shows very little crime.
Is it safe?

Redbank is cheap for a reason. It was prestige in the 80s while Ipswich boomed, then died when high income earners employed in industry moved out. It's built on top of redundant coal mines and in 2007 an entire street collapsed down a coal shaft. I say this to everyone, check premiums with your insurance before purchasing
