We're thinking of moving to Redcliffe in about 6 months.

I would need to know how the jobs are there, in the areas of childcare and accounting and hospitallity If kindergarten schools are good? If there are good hospitals for children? And whether it is a safe city to live in homes or apartaments it is better to live in fit. Thanks

Redcliffe and the peninsula as a whole is a mixed bag but generally speaking a pretty easy going and safe place to live. I would reccomend renting when you first arrive so you can get a vibe for the place. You will quickly find that some street have a completely different feel to others. East of Oxley is generally regarded as the place to be if you can but that doesn't mean areas west of Oxley (Oxley being Oxley Avenue) are less appealing, it just means that you are closer to the waterfront. As I said, once you spend a few hours driving around the peninsula you will get a vibe for what you like and don't like (which is different for everyone). Good luck with the move...it's a pretty special place imo.
