Whats the best area to buy a house in Redcliffe peninsula?
Husband and I work in the hospital and would love to be close to work (10-15min max drive). Our budget is 500k (fully renovated) but happy to purchase less and renovate ourselves. Were looking for a family friendly suburb thats quiet and friendly.

The $500K budget would suit the suburbs of Redcliffe and Woody Point or the lower end of Scarborough.
The best places for waterfront walks on the Redcliffe peninsula are:
- Endeavour Park (Newport) - view of the Glass House Mountains
- Scarborough Beach (Scarborough) - view of Moreton Island
- Sutton’s Beach (Redcliffe/Margate) - view of Moreton Island
- Apex Park (Woody Point) - view of the Brisbane Airport
The best cafes are around the Redcliffe Jetty and Scarborough Beach.
