I am a first home buyer. Would like to seek an opinion on buying the first property in Richmond ?

I bought my first home in Richmond, it's very affordable and a nice area with friendly people. Also I commuted to the city and it only took 1hr 20 direct on the train which really wasn't that bad when my eastern subs colleagues were spending an hour on the bus in traffic.
