How do you volunteer to help with the Araluen tulip planting each year?

It's easy to volunteer at Araluen - see their website and make a simple phone call :)

I took my class of Yr 11/12 students with special needs to volunteer with bulb planting last year (2013) and it was the best excursion ever!
We were very grateful to the staff for their helpfulness and kindness - especially the kind workers in the kitchen tea rooms who cooked our sausages for us because it was raining (and therefore couldn't use the BBQ facilities).

We were allowed to come back in Spring free of charge to see the fruits of our labour - a wonderful sunny day, thankfully - and the students enjoyed it immensely!
