Where is the closest dog park to Rothwell?

There is a great off leash area in Deception Bay only 5 mins drive away at Captain Cook Pde boat ramp. Dogs love running around at low tide on the foreshore. It's also just a beautiful spot to relax!!

The closest fenced dog park is about a 5 minute drive away in Cross Street, Deception Bay but there's little shade and the mozzies can be a bit annoying at times.
The best is only about a 10-15 minute drive and well worth it. Its called Kroll Gardens Off Leash Dog Park and boast 5 heactares of pure doggy heaven. There's an area for little dogs to be away from the big boys.
I'd always be close to my dog though and keep a good eye on them in any off leash area for their own safety and my sanity anyway. :)
Kroll Gardens is at the corner of Snook Street and Duffield Road, Clontarf and has its own website that's worth checking out.
