Reviews of Rue Montaigne, Petrie
"Nice suburban feel with great access to other parts of Brisbane and North Coast"
Rue Montaigne is good road stretching through French's Forest, almost to Dayboro Road with a nice neighborhood. Well located with easy access to all parts of Brisbane and the North Coast. Close to the road corridor access for the Samford Valley, Northern suburbs and beaches and Sunshine Coast. Also close to rail including Petrie Station easily accessed by car, cycle or even a good walk. The road is also well served by good bus transport. The neighborhood is well maintained by most residents who take pride in their gardens, plenty of greenery and parklands, birds a plenty and other wildlife including koalas quite common. There are nice walking tracks and cycle paths close by with Lake Kurwongbah and Kurwongbah Dam and picnic areas complimenting the area. Old Petrie Town, which has regular Sunday markets is also a bonus being very close.
Great for
- Good neighborhood
- Well kept homes and gardens
- Good access to roads and public transport and walking and cycling paths
Not great for
- Road is quite long and can be a thoroughfare of sorts but not bad
- Train line not too far away but this is also a positive, not noisy at all
