There are several play areas. Moora Park at Shorncliffe has a brilliant one with lots of interactive stuff for the kids.

There is a lovely playground on the beachfront, right next to the pool between 8th and 9th Avenue, if you need an enclosed on there is one in the middle of Sandgate next to the lagoon.
