St. Francis Wood has beautiful neighborhoods and homes but it doesn't have the dramatic "postcard" setting of Sea Cliff with close-up views of the Golden Gate Bridge, nor access to beaches and trails. There are many other neighborhoods surrounding St Francis Wood and a couple very busy traffic arteries whereas Sea Cliff is nestled away to itself.
The closest comparison I can think of to Sea Cliff would be Pacific Heights. Some of the best and most expensive real estate in San Francisco, bay and Golden Gate Bridge views, and mansions galore! It is otherwise unique being a little pocket neighborhood in SF and not a tourist destination, making it one of the most sought after places to live.
Sea Cliff in San Francisco, as other reviewers have noted, is like the Beverly Hills of SF. There is no neighborhood that is exactly like it, but there are some that are like it in some ways. For example, the St. Francis Wood is like it in terms of wealth. But its proximity to the Bay and amazing view of the Golden Gate pretty much ensure its uniqueness.
