"Edenbrooke - Seventeen Mile Rocks oasis for relaxed lifestyle living"

Edenbrooke is without doubt one of the greatest estates in the Centenary area. Been living here since 2005 and wouldn't change it for the world. Great Parks, walkways and great neighbours.

"Great Neighbours at Edenbrooke!"

Those who live in Edenbrooke would agree that it's a pleasant area with nature, modern homes, great playgrounds and sporting facilities. A 20 minute drive from Brisbane's CBD via the Centenary Highway, Edenbrooke literally has it all!

Edenbrooke is a great community with a friendly atmosphere. Going for a stroll one day, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by many smiles and "how are you's". The locals take great pride in their surroundings; it's not uncommon to see members of the community cleaning up the public parks and gardens on their weekends.

Those with young families would feel safe in this area due to the strong sense of community that ties Edenbrooke together. While working in the area, I was approached by a neighbour asking who I was and what I did, simply because they had seen me around the area and knew that I did not live there myself.

Everything only makes me like this suburb more and more, there's nothing to dislike on my list!

Rentals in Seventeen Mile Rocks

"Great place to live"

Grew up around Oxley and recently moved back to 17 Mile Rocks in 2007 after building a house.... It is close to the City and is a fantastic place to live..... The only negative is that we can not get ADSL2 internet at our house due to the outdated telephone exchange at Darra but that might change in years to come.

"Feel Safe in Your Home"

17 Mile Rocks is one of the last few suburbs where you can forget to lock the car at night. It has a family feel to it, with quiet cul de sacs and streets where children play with one another. Neighbours are friendly and are often seen talking across fences or across roads with each other. This is an area that is set to boom in the near future. Bordering Windermere, Edenbrook, The Verandahs and Oxley this pocket of realestate has remained a hidden gem but is gaining more popularity. If you seek a home that is safe to raise your children, has good aesthetic qualities and will enjoy strong growth I suggest you look into the pockets of 17 Mile Rocks.
