Reviews of Springbrook, QLD

"Pristine rainforest and an amazing mountain community"

Springbrook is amazing and even today is unspoilt by excessive commercialization with that “miles from anywhere feeling”.
It offers a warm tight-knit mountain community of environmentally conscious, friendly faces and helping hands. With amazing walking tracks, you'll love it for a day visit but when you contemplate living here, you can find beautiful mountain homes that co-exist with nature in a peaceful and quiet environment, some with breathtaking views.

"Springbrook - Beatuiful area with natural wonders."

Springbrook I best known for the ancient Antarctic Beech trees and magnificent waterfalls. Located between Lamington National Park and the Gold Coast, there are many things to see in this area such as the Glow Worm Farm, the Springbook Research Centre and the Springbrook Observatory. This area is great for bushwalking and picnics. There are plenty of B&B’s in the area for your accommodation needs and a few convenience shops at some of the major attractions. Due to the government buy up of land and the fact that a lot of the area is National Park. There are not many homes for sale in the area and land releases are only very small.

"On top of the World"

Springbrook is one of the loveliest places in the world according to me. Surrounded by National Parkland and infused with greenery, it can take ones breath away with beauty. There's a few excellent camping spots and lots of quaint cottages to rent. In summer you can swim in the mountain streams and in winter you can huddle next to a fireplace and watch the mist swirl outside the window. There are a few specialty shops dotted on the mountain and it's only about half an hour from the Gold Coast so it's convenient enough. Charming little tea houses offer scones and refreshments and the lookouts are spectacular.

Are there any issues with bush fires ? Love the bush but coming from a bush fire area down south being safe from fire is our number one concern. Thanks
