Springvale South, VIC 3172 is located within the Greater Dandenong local government area, part of the Melbourne (Greater) Region in Victoria.
We are considering moving there but am concerned about recent crime reports

Hi Deewee, Springvale South is a relatively safe suburb. I've lived here on Melview Drive, Hume Road and Wardale Road over the years. My neighbours has all been friendly and never had an incident before.
