It's definitely lower than most places, though not a lot lower than much of Dutchess County. This isn't the most populated area in the world, and you feel like you have a fair bit of room to stretch out.

It seems pretty low- 70.9 people per square mile. Comparatively, my hometown on LI has a density of 7,500 people per square mile.
