If looking for a night out in Stanford, what are your options?
Are there local restaurants/bars/hangouts here or will you have to leave town to find that sort of thing?

I'd say you really don't have a lot of nightlife options in Stanford. Yeah, you can try Red Devon, but that's not the best place to get a drink or have much fun. Stanford is extremely limited in this regard.

There is the lovely Red Devon Restaurant & Market in Bangall which serves locally grown sustainable food which is super fresh and quite delicious. They even have organic beer and wine at the bar. There is also Stanford Pizza, Picolo 82, Home Plate, Uncle Sonny’s Café & Pizzeria, The Bangall Whaling Company, Doreen Brown and Stan Stille Grille in Stanfordville.
