I doubt I'll be able to get to five, because to be completely blunt, there isn't a lot to do around here.
-Check out the parks and park preserves. There are a few parks in the area and this is a really picturesque part of both New York and Dutchess County. Some of them have nice trails for hiking. The town park in Stanfordville is quite nice, with baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a play area for the kids, and a small beach alongside a pond.
-Eat out. There are some good restaurants here like the Red Devon.
