"A beautiful town, it really need fresh seafood"
Strahan is a beautiful town however, it can be quite windy at times.
There are many great accommodation choices around though it can be hard finding a place to eat as you can never tell when a restaurant or cafe will be open.
The only seafood in town is never open at a decent time, which is why I believe resident from near by town rarely visit.
There would be a great market for new business such as tradies, cafe/restaurant (that are actually open) and activity providers in Strahan.

On Macquarie Harbour - lots of activities to do and plenty of work in hospitality, aquaculture, mining. house prices and rent is very reasonable. Strahan is the jewel in the crown of the west coast of Tasmania. It is a premier tourist town in the busy season being December to March.
Great for
- Local school, medical centre, supermarket, bank
- Everything is within walking distance
- Beautiful scenery and activities, friendly locals
Not great for
- We don't want to let too many people know about Strahan otherwise it will change the persona of the town
- Slightly isolated but that is not a bad thing
