"Horrible, noisy and over rated area ! Hate it"

Noisy, freeway noise, flight path noise 24/7. Loud nosey gossiping boring neighbours, noise all day and night. Hideous entitled rude teens/20/30s still living with parents, parents just as bad. No parking, can't get in and out of driveway. No diversity, vanilla boring as bat shit place to be. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Can't wait to move. Don't waste your money. Your living near a noisy freeway under a flight path. If you enjoy having to turn your TV up every five minutes due to aircraft, go for it. If you love the sound of helicopters circulating above your house for hours on end every other night, during the night, go for it. HATE IT HERE, not worth the soil !

"Safe environment and super dog friendly!"

It's really great for the dogs as there are many dog walkers around and a lovely dog park. Public transport and freeway access is easy to get to.

"Lots of hills but good amount of private schools and parks"

Squished between essendon and moonee ponds, it's your neighbouring town that has all the amenities of both with still the high price of a home. Lots of old flats and blocks of 60s style homes still here.

"Strathmore - The place to live!"

Strathmore is a great place to raise a family with great schools as well as being well connected with public transport and access to freeways. It has great parks and a very neighbourly appeal, with many activities involving the shopping centre and community bank. There is a great coffee culture and many restaurants close by.

"Toorak of the North West"

Strathmore is ideally located, 15 mins into town, 10 mins to the airport. Sporting clubs, cafes, restaurants, shops are all within a stones throw.

"Under the radar"

Fantastic suburb. Well supported by thriving village, Moonee Ponds shops and Essendon a stones throw away. 12 Ks to CBD. Great local college, Strathmore College amd advised by Education Dept now as hard as Uni High to get a place. Also many private schools to choose from eg PEGS, Lowther, less than ten mins drive in peak hr. People very friendly. Great bus service with two train stations to choose from. Area becoming highly regentrified and large high end houses rule. Gardens hence streetscapes appear manicured. Strathmore is pretty much under the radar but people now catching on hence prices on the up.
