"Bogan tradies"
Noisy bogan piss head neighbours, street parking congestion, not accessible to public transport, hilly, constant airport noise all day and night, noisy freeway and trafic noise. Cant wait to move out.
"Lots of hills but good amount of private schools and parks"
Squished between essendon and moonee ponds, it's your neighbouring town that has all the amenities of both with still the high price of a home. Lots of old flats and blocks of 60s style homes still here.

"Strathmore - The place to live!"
Strathmore is a great place to raise a family with great schools as well as being well connected with public transport and access to freeways. It has great parks and a very neighbourly appeal, with many activities involving the shopping centre and community bank. There is a great coffee culture and many restaurants close by.

"Under the radar"
Fantastic suburb. Well supported by thriving village, Moonee Ponds shops and Essendon a stones throw away. 12 Ks to CBD. Great local college, Strathmore College amd advised by Education Dept now as hard as Uni High to get a place. Also many private schools to choose from eg PEGS, Lowther, less than ten mins drive in peak hr. People very friendly. Great bus service with two train stations to choose from. Area becoming highly regentrified and large high end houses rule. Gardens hence streetscapes appear manicured. Strathmore is pretty much under the radar but people now catching on hence prices on the up.
