"A Popular Newer Suburb So Close to Beaches and Dunes"
Akaroa Tasmania is the up and coming suburb in the greater St Helens area. It is positioned on the eastern most end of St Helens Point Road and is approx a 10 minute drive to the heart of St Helens. You'll love Akaroa if you love boating as there are several boat ramps within close vicinity, especially Burns Bay boat ramp if you're keen to get to the open water.
Many homes in Akaroa - especially in Kiama Parade, Akaroa Avenue and Maori Place have exceptional water views over Georges Bay.
Homes in Akaroa tend to be substantial and it's regularly referred to as the posh end of town.
Hillcrest Mini Mart is approx 3km down the road with fuel, takeaways and milk bar lines. Parkside Bar & Kitchen is approx 5km away with modern dining facilities and great views. There is not public transport available.
It's a great place to live and popular with families.
