If you're in Warrnambool, make sure to include a trip to Cheeseworld in Allansford on your schedule. It boasts cheese and wine tastings and a rural museum, as well as a restaurant. The Allansford Hotel is also a popular haunt for locals and serves lunch and dinner seven days a week in its renovated bistro. The town also has a laundromat and general store for people passing through. A delightful tearoom, The Purple Pigeon is also worth a visit.
