"Beautiful, Quiet Place, Easy Living"
I’ve lived here for about ten years and love it. Fantastic for those who love the outdoors, water and nature. The only drawback is you have to be prepared to travel into town for some things as local shops are fairly limited. Also, public transport is not really great in this area. Apart from this, Basin View is a peaceful & friendly part of paradise with plenty to offer.

"Great place to live or holiday"
Very quiet and safe area for families and singles with a love of the water and the great outdoors. Fantastic boat ramp offering access to Jervis Bay and the waters of St Georges Basin. New shopping centre to be built in Vincentia (8klms away) will provide jobs and negate the need to go to Nowra for the weekly shop. Affordable housing in a suburb that can't grow anymore due to the surrounding national park. Medical facilities close by. Highway access is excellent and Sydney and Canberra are about two and a half hours away.

Not great for
- No major shopping in area, closest is Nowra
- No public transport to speak of
- No nightlife
