Reviews of Bentley, WA
"Pros and Cons"
Lived here for 2years on Walpole street townhouse.
Pros: Location is perfect and easy to everywhere. Victoria Park/Carousel and Curtin are close by.
Cons: very busy street and lot's of hoons. Many glass debris/ ciggys on the street and in the park. Many dodggy house share here as you can see more than 5 car park in front of a small 2/3x1 unit. On where Walpole street and Chapman rd cross there are many aggressive people either shouting at you or act aggressively. Many many breakins and stealing. Friends house got check every month😑😒
"Tate Street Bentley Perth"
Location could not be better, close to city accessible by train and bus, multicultural influences and family friendly. Shopping centre with plenty of parking and council services efficient. Bentley up and coming investment area for inner city living, without Inner city suburb prices.
"Disturbing home owner in dodgy neighbourhood"
I was in the market for a new home at Bentley near the plaza and park so I pulled up at the first unit on Pusey Street for sale. I walked up to the unit and saw the owner yelling aggressively out of the window. I got a terrible shock. The old man was yelling across the street but I don't see anyone on the street. I'm not sure what that was about, but safe to say I won't be living in a neighbourhood like that. Unless you like loud, disruptive places, I wouldn't recommend.

"Full of crime!!!"
There are a lot of strangers walking around the neighbourhood, especially if you live near the park or plaza. Our place and cars got broken in more than once. Pets would die or go missing in the neighbourhood. Overall, a terrible area to be at. Also be careful if you have children!
"A Friendly, Convenient Area"

"Avoid at all costs"
I have lived in Bentley in the area between Manning Road and Chapman Rd for 6 months now. The neighborhood is littered with foreigners who don't have any respect for their neighbors. Not to mention, low income housing is but a stones throw away. Most of the residents are Curtain University students living in share houses, or foreign families that have immigrated. Almost every night you can hear police sirens speeding by to get to the low income housing area, and on the weekends drunks sit on the sidewalks and blast their stereos and have shouting matches with each other. This is not the place to live if you want to be able to relax and enjoy your home. Lately there have been several attacks on people walking at night. I don't own a dog and I have found dog poop left in my front lawn a number of times. Basically, avoid Bentley unless you can't afford to live anywhere else.

"Acton Ave - Great location and Friendly Neighbors"
Located on the other side of Albany Hwy, Acton Ave is safe, quiet and allows great access to shops, schools, medical centres and local parklands. Acton Ave also boasts some of the best green lawns and garden fronts. Located near by to major roads giving access to CBD, Fremantle, Midland etc..

"Wyong Road - A very busy and noisey street"
A very busy and noisey street. Although it has a lovely park it tends to attract undesirables late at night. Had several break ins and several intruders in our yard on seperate occasions. Many people on this street complained about car windows being smashed and yes ours was one them! The street tends to have length so a lot of people leaving Manning road speed and hoon down this street and of course always in the early hours of the morning!
