"A little bit of heaven in the rolling hills of the Tambo Valley, where the Tambo River nourishes the town and local areas."
A safe place to bring up your children. No need for molly-codolling them here. Neighbours look out for local kids, and report to their parents in a caring spirit. Shop keepers know your name and genuinely care. A Kindergarten, Primary School where my children went on to excel in their chosen secures. Bus Service to local Secondary College and Nagel College. Community is a sense of Family, and that is the secret of living in Bruthen.

Ever watch heartbeat?....Then you will fall in love with the old fashioned quaint town of Bruthen! Where is it?- about 15-20 mins inland from Bairnsdale. Many pass through here on way to the Great alpine region or utilise the Lakes Entrance bypass and stop for a relaxing stroll around the town. Great food to be had in the bakery ( pasties awesome ) , beer made locally at Bullant Brewery or picnic in the towns green garden that divides the main strip. Many a boutique industry operate in and around the town, with treats to please all-sorts. This place is steadily going ahead and will be "The place to be" in the near future!
